Hello, I'm Paula!

Scala Caeli was born in a very simple way: I wanted to pray the rosary, but it wasn't yet part of my routine. At the time, I didn't even own a rosary.

I started looking for one that suited me, but I couldn't find exactly what I imagined. That's when I decided to learn how to make my own rosary.

What began as a personal experiment soon caught the attention of those around me. Friends and family saw what I was creating, liked it, and started placing orders. Gradually, the rosaries began to mark special moments: births, baptisms, birthdays, retreats, First Communions, Confirmations, and weddings.

To organize these orders, I created an Instagram profile that would serve only as a catalog of the pieces I produced. It was at this moment that the need to choose a name arose.

I remembered a well-known image that shows souls ascending to Heaven through the Holy Rosary. That image remained etched in my heart and inspired the name Scala Caeli, a Latin expression meaning "Stairway to Heaven."

More than two years have passed since then.

What began with a single rosary made for me has transformed into a work that now reaches people all over Brazil. Recently, with the great success of the "Bela Rosary," Scala Caeli has grown even more, and new collections have begun to emerge.

Currently, my husband, José Henrique, and I handle all the production together. Each piece continues to be handcrafted with care, attention to detail, and great affection.

More than creating religious objects, our desire is to produce rosaries that help people cultivate a life of prayer. Each color, each material, and each detail is chosen with purpose because we believe that beauty can also bring hearts closer to God.

May each piece of the Scala Caeli rosary be an invitation to climb another step on this journey towards Heaven.

"It all started because I wanted to learn how to pray the rosary. Today, each piece we create is an invitation for others to discover this beauty as well."
